We are simply bursting at the seams with success! 

The residents of Canyon Lake love their library and it shows.  We see the proof everyday in the fully booked Meeting Room schedule, the immense popularity of our computer classes, the overflowing attendance at Storytime and Summer Reading, in the extremely high rate of computer usage and, of course, the skyrocketing growth of circulation and daily visitor statistics.  The library's success has, in fact, far outpaced current space.

The Be a Part of the Story  capital campaign is working to raise $3.1 million to build a new 18,000 square foot library to serve the rapidly growing needs of Canyon Lake. 

Our Vision for the New Building

As the Canyon Lake area's population continues to grow, our goal is to exceed community expectations in meeting the increased demand for a wider range of resources and services.  The new Tye Preston Memorial Library on the South Access Road will be a community building that unites all areas of the Lake by truly being Canyon Lake's Destination For a Lifetime!
